I am a very friendly person and love to smile to everybody (girls and guys). I don’t understand why some guys always want to flirt with me. I don’t flirt with them or give them any hints that I like them—they just like me and try to flirt with me.

It’s very annoyed. I actually have hurted couple guy friends feelings because I told them to “leave me alone” or “I just like them as friends”, or making mean and serious faces.

What is the best way to stop guys from flirt with you? Please advice. Thank you so much for your kindness!

I think that is human nature. Not all guys are that way, but some guys will always be that way.

use unapproachable body language like have a stone face, cross your arms, and don’t make much eye contact. that’ll stop the boys – trust me!

Unfortunately some guys may mistake your natural friendliness as flirtation. If a guy starts making unwanted advances politely smile and say that you’re not interested. And walk away.

sadly people often mistake kindness as flirting, some people will assume you like them as long as you are nice to them. Try bringing up that you have a person you like or that you just aren’t interested in dating or having a relationship, without making them think that you are aiming it at them. They might get the hint and not take it personally. Good luck

You could sort of ignore it. I used to suddenly become totally engrossed in whatever book I was reading or whatever, just don’t give them the satisfaction of an interesting reaction. Try to hang around your girl friends more, a lot of guys won’t approach girls when they’re in “packs”.

Stop bathing/ showering. That’ll scare them off for sure.

Just kidding.

Talk to them about neutral things that wouldn’t give them a chance to flirt. And if worse comes to worse, just don’t flirt back when they do flirt.

I’m sure if you’re not returning their feelings, they won’t do anything drastic like ask you out and then there’s no need to tell them you just like them as a friend- becuase they should get it.
