What is with the pickup artist?

   I like the pickup artist…hes giving guys with zero confidence the confidence they need to go out there and clearly its working. Sure some of the names they use are ridiculous “kino?” but this social experiment is helpful to the participants. What have you done today to better someone’s life?

   First, realize that he’s usually training complete tools. Guys who won’t kiss first. Guys who shut up when they don’t have something to say. Guys who don’t worry enough about fitting in to fit in, but don’t have enough style to stand out. How do you teach your ‘tool’ friends to get women–let me guess, you don’t, you just have them bring the beer.

   Drunk ****** at a bar are easy and plentiful–this is why he takes students there to practice–picking up girls at a bar is easier, more appropriate and he’s trying to give these guys some confidence. He also want them to see the reasons why women follow some men but not others. This way, when they meet someone in a regular place like a bookstore or grocery shopping, they’ll know how to be the guy the lady was happy to have met, rather than the one they tell their friends a horror story about before they swear they’ll never go to Borders again.
